    I’ve waited ten long months

For what I’ve been looking for my whole life

Only for the powers at be to cause us pain and strife

We laugh, watch tv, take long walks

Have fun with each other like no other

And have the deepest thoughts and hour long talks

I love her and I know that she loves me

Just being together is an ordeal

But the President would let her be there with me on Death Row

Just relating to how I feel

She understands me like I always longed for

I don’t have to speak, I can have my eyes closed

And she would know just what it is that my heart and mind wishes to pour

If  I had it my way, she would be here with me

Not a care in the world, with life at her fingertips

People to cater to her, ordered  just to let her be

I know that you’re reading this because I allowed you that

I trust you with my whole being

No matter the situation, be clear that I really do have your back

    I love you
