    Memories

lts my birthday and am all alone with just my work to keep me company...

it made me remember gradually and as i do tears sparkle in my eyes , roll down uncontrolable

i remember certain days like this years back...when the day is really a very spcial one and i will have all my loved ones all around me just singing sweet songs of birthday

A BIG BOWL OF RICE AND CANDLES ALL AROUND AND A CAKE THAT INCREASESS IN HEIGHT EVERY YEAR...

MY MUM PRIDES HER SELF TO MAKE it FOR ME ...AND YOU KNOW...MY DAD TOO PUTTING MY BEST SONGS ...THEN WEARING ME MY BEST COLOURS OF CLOTH AND FROM ALL AROUND friends SHOW UP WITH WONDERFULL GIFT...

But alas I CLOSE MY EYES, GO BACK TO THOSE TIMES,FEEL SUCH PEACE BUT WHEN I OPENED I FEEL SO MUCH LONELINESS AND THE SMILES from the happy faces THAT GREET me dim into MOMERY OF THE TWO PEOPLE THAT MADE THE DAY SO WONDERFUL

I really fell into this. Great job! Watch the spelling closely for it alone will reduce a good poem to mediocrity.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
