Midnights in May
My main goal today
Before I lay my head to rest
Make sure your lips will be carressed
The entire month of may
By mine
While sipping on some wine
Exposing lust and every fear
To you
My dearest I'll be true
Midnights in May

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
