The Taming of the Shrew
They whisper quietly in his ears
‘This lady can not be tamed
She will only cause you tears
Leave you lonesome and ashamed’
His pounding heart, stubborn and pure
As I merrily write this poem for you
Henced far away, finding the cure
To begin the taming of his shrew
Whispers fade, leaves turn green, time will do it’s part
But dearest son, you can not tame, a lady wild at heart
