    moon eyes

all that I feared, mirrors my decision
looking out for them, looking out for you
left me in the field, attacked by noise
a white drone that forces my face up
the sky won’t break open, he has turned
his robe in the cloud billows the distance
as I turned myself, from the patterns to change
a singular gift I froze in the passing
I freed the moon and blocked the sun
and with out my shadow all is undone

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
