    Mother of the year

You were never there for me, you never did care
Living under your roof was truly a fucking nightmare
I only have bad memories to remember my childhood
There were so many things i never understood
like why were we always home alone
we couldnt even get you to pick up the damn phone
and why was the bar more important than me
you drank way more than just socially
as i grew older i knew i could never count on you
you would never admit that maybe you were the issue
when i moved out i wasnt ready but i had to get away
and lets just be honest its not like you were begging me to stay
as the years went on we spoke less and less
on my birthday i told myself you must of forgot the address
you moved on with your life and so did i
sometimes i wonder why you never even try
but now i realize i dont need you in my life anymore
i can do bad by my damn self what do i need you for?
