    Poem Commentary

    Mountainmountainmountain

I said she caught me sniffing glue
She didn't know just what to do
    She scratched her head
    And then she said that
    Disco's dead
    And I might be soon

I told her I was tryin'...
....Following disco's footsteps the best way I can, with platform boots on

Gonna do the best I can
    To break my hand-
    That fucker's got me nowhere

I'm not familiar enough with some happenings in your poem, just can say that I loved it and enjoyed reading it. I should say that you have a good talent in poetry. I believe you will make great progress if you go ahead.

Thanks for your feedback and encouragement!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
