Mouse on the Moon
A mouse on the moon, took his spoon,And went to find some cheese,
But when he went out and looked about,
There was none there you see's.
So the mouse on the moon, ran this way and that way,
To find something, Oh much more better,
He did this you see because he was free,
And also a furry go-getter.
At last he did find something worthwhile at last,
And he grinned and he smiled a moon day,
It was a blue marble high up in the heavens,
That didn't look that far away.
What could it be? This swirling round ball,
That winked at him in the night space,
So he sat down a while inside of a crater,
With a sharp puzzled look on his face.
I wonder he thought if they have cheese,
On that odd looking place over there,
There's only one way to tell if they do,
So he jumped from the moon not a care!
