MOVING ON (The Poetry of James Magill)

MOVING ON

Desert dancing

Somewhat west of Phoenix

Route 66 whispers

A knowing lullaby

Moonlit Texaco Star sways

Not too far over head

---Thinking only about seeing

Another day's untethered miles. ~

A true insightful poem. It maintains a level of interest throughout its entirety. You are very talented. The ability to communicate a sentiment is very well portrayed. A great read for me!

THANK YOU for taking the time to read some of my work. I really appreciate your thoughtful comments. ---Jim Magill

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
