    Much Easier

Much easier to criticize than to be correct,
easier to punch you in the mouth than to turn around and step.
Easier to stay in bed, than to wake up and get to work,
too much effort to pick up women, view pno's and jerk.
Easier to quit harder to keep the pen moving,
easy to be a bait, hard to hide dirt that you're doing.
Not a sweat broken to turn my back on the game,
easy to copy another, hard to build own lane.
Easy to be a pop hero, hard being a soul martyr,
no work to be the next Drake, been all dues for Still Watters.
Takes a minute to drop out, but four years to a degree,
harder to die standing than to live scraping your knee.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
