My Angel
I stare into your autumn eyes
I feel dazed and confused almost hypnotized
And the smell of your amber hair
Like spring flowers floating through the air
Your laughter like chimes in the summer breeze
And a smile that could melt the most frigid freeze
Your skin the color of almonds drying in the sun
To compare your radiant glow, there is but One
Your lips taste like the sweetest honeysuckle
One kiss and my knees buckle
You are the compass that keeps me on His path
You are the guardian angel that keeps me from His wrath
You are my moon in the everlasting sky
You are the drug that keeps me high.
You are the wings that give my heart flight
You are the reason for which I fight
I feel dazed and confused almost hypnotized
And the smell of your amber hair
Like spring flowers floating through the air
Your laughter like chimes in the summer breeze
And a smile that could melt the most frigid freeze
Your skin the color of almonds drying in the sun
To compare your radiant glow, there is but One
Your lips taste like the sweetest honeysuckle
One kiss and my knees buckle
You are the compass that keeps me on His path
You are the guardian angel that keeps me from His wrath
You are my moon in the everlasting sky
You are the drug that keeps me high.
You are the wings that give my heart flight
You are the reason for which I fight
