    my best friend

she was suppose to be my best friend...
closer than a mother, willing just to bend...
the nights with her ran way into the morn...
even when we disagreed, it was never meant to scorn...
somewhere over time our hearts became intwine...
the smiles became bigger, the love became mine...
I thought that things were going really cool
but I never know the inside i was just the fool...
the feelings that she had for me, turn from warm to hate...
and everytime I tried to help, no longer was she my mate...
I do much for this lady who has been driven in my heart...
I never seem to say or do the rights things for her part...
I my miss my best friend I wish I knew where has she gone...
Until I find her Love again, I'll keep on hanging on....
    to be continued...

I honestly beleive whether this poem is based on reality or not, that you felt every word. Thats why i enjoyed it. Nice work

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
