The Journey
the Journey here has been long
my heart has suffered, but still is strong
my love has moved over miles of pain
but now the spirit has made it plain
the walk is rough and blessings few
and God has sent me joy in you...
everyday a breath of cool fresh air
every night I find peace in knowing you are there
the walk was long and lots of stress
with you by my side, I forget the rest
to allow the few blessings that come my way
and bring me closer to God each day.....
