My Days

My Days

I have so many troubled days.
But trouble don't last always.
Some days seem so rough.
When it get rough, I get tough.
Just to get through those hardship days.
And I think to myself in so many ways.
Of how to survive in a world I don't fit in.
Separating the reality life from dreaming.
I think of reasons why I am I here.
Should I swallow my troubles with liqour and beer?
I realize that is not the answer.
Might in up dead with some type of cancer.
I wonder will I see the sunshine.
My world is so dark with this little light of mind.
Carry so much weight on my shoulders.
It gets heavier as I'm getting older.
So full of happiness, so full of pride.
But truly no one knows how I feel inside.
Love is found, but true love is lost.
Bad judgements and same mistakes really cost.
I have so my troubled days.
But trouble don't last always.

Admire your use of rhyme and the way you combine it with giving a picture of "your days"

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
