    MY FRIEND AND BROTHER

You my friend and brother, I see you often
But there seems never time for talking
But I remember the words you have spoken
    They will never be forgotten
As they have been planted in my heart
From God, that’s where they came from the start…

As you travel down here in this life
You always try with all your might
You soar high as the eagles
When they are in their flight
You also are one of those
Who has a zeal in life
A vision beyond which others can’t see
    Not a follower but a disciple indeed…

All the worry, work and toiling
Up the hills and through the valleys
    You’ll never regret a mile
You have traveled for our Lord
For one day soon you’ll receive
    Your great reward…

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
