THE LITTLE MAIL CARRIER ( True Event)

    Looking back upon the years
Our little mail carrier that was so dear
    Many miles did he travel
Everyday thru all kinds of weather…

    Riding upon his little mule
Only thing he had that would move…

    As the clock rolled around
At 2:00 p.m. there he would be found
You could hear the sound ringing upon the ground
As he and his mule came trotting down…

Time has changed the road is black
No longer the sound of the mules click clack…

Cars and truck have taken their place
Everything now moving in a faster pace…
