    my love

When I first layed eyes on you, my whole life changed.

When I first spoke to you, it felt like my mouth was chained.

When I first kissed you, nothing in the world mattered.

When you said goodbye, my heart was shattered.

When I think about you, I regret letting you go.

Before I die, tell me you love me once more

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
