My Valentine
Your love brought me to my knees and made my heart beat true.
Took me from the shadows of life to bask in the aurora of you.
Like sinners at the gates of heaven I was taught to love anew.
To hear your honeyed voice, was like listening to a whispering chime.
To see your enchanting face, was like watching divine sunlight climb.
You walked from heaven’s door, into my heart and remained enshrined.
Passions afresh each time I was captured in your eyes caress.
What mattered, didn’t matter anymore, my life was reassessed.
I discovered in arms of an angel the essence of contentedness.
My new wife, spirit of my life, insatiable love blessedly pure
I thank thee, for tender memories that are you mi amor.
For they unfold and in my mind they grow preciously obscure.
Each day I pray, rain on me Lord but save my soul tonight.
Let passionate feelings of connubial bliss last until life’s twilight.
Listen to my tears, conquer my fears, let forever start this night.
For she moves me like no other, this intoxicating lover
My special lady, this beloved mother, I truly love her.
