My Ways

My Ways

In the shadow of my childhood every step was clear
Taking chances and risks alike
How could immature mind quail from obscurity?
It’s just illusion, I couldn’t have done better
I will always stay by my ways

Patches of gold and velvet flashed from a distance past
Idling on thrilling reveries-
Of consummate love which happens once in our life time
So charming a life, no heart-breaks and woes
I always hope for ideal ways

I, the tiny constitute of the universe passing through seasons
Learnt the brutal reality
How an altruistic man get over gruesome break-up
Lightning never strikes twice, I will rise again
It’s comprehension that shapes my ways

This is one of the most beautiful poems I have read on here so far ...!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
