My Wife (Wedding Vows)

My Wife (Wedding Vows)

I stand before you today
As a imperfect man
That will always strive to be
Looked at from your eyes as a perfect husband

I stand before you certain that my love for you will forever continue to grow
Even after I die
Because I will be your guardian angel
That watches over you from the sky

Now I cannot promise you
That the flight of our journey will not, hit any rough spots or turbulence
But I can promise you that I will do everything in my power to make sure
That the landing is a safe one

I vow to be loyal and always remain by your side
For richer or for poorer
And in sickness and good health
I will support you in all your future endeavors
And make sure that this reality we live in is always what you dreamed

That's why I can say
That I stand before you
With your name
tatooed on my heart

You are my rib
Your are the air that I breathe
And no matter how content I am with my life
I will never stop striving to give you more

I am honored
and lucky that on this day
my better half
BECOMES MY WIFE...............

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
