Watching Over Me

I can not change the past
Or take back the tears that I've cried
I cannot rewrite the beginning of my story
But I determine the final copy to my life's ending

I walk fearlessly on this earth
As my problems sets in
Because true character is defined
By how you dance in the rain and the wind

THere are moments when I feel
That I just can not go on
Those are the moments
When I pray even more

Asking God for forgiveness
For all my sins and short comings
To be provided with the strength
To overcome the personal battles that lies within

Asking God to bless me with the courage
To stand up against what's wrong
And when I feel mentally and physically broken down
That I remain strong

For I do not yet know my true purpose
For why I am not here on the earth
But I do know I will not sell myself short
Because there is no price high enough for my worth

Everything happens for a reason
Even though I may not know why
However I know God will see me through it
As long as I am living my life right

People I love will come and go
And things may not be as they seem
But no matter how much I hurt
I have faith that I will overcome all things

In the end I will be standing
Where God wants me to be
That's why there is nothing I can not do or be
When God is watching over me
