In August of 1991- I Gave Birth to a Wonderful Son!
His name is Darren Keith. And When he was a little boy,
he caused me some grief, But Mostly Joy!
He's turned into a Handsome Young Man, and is learning
what Life is all About. He understands and Believes in God -
Without a Doubt! He has a Loving Heart and is very Giving,
He's The One that makes My Life Worth Living!
I'm very Thankful for and very Proud of the Son God Gave Me!
My Son is very Smart, and has Joined The Navy!
He made a Good Decision, but it's Breaking My Heart,
because I will miss him so much while we're Apart.
He will be gone a year or Longer, but I know -
Absence Will Only Make Our Love Grow Stronger!
And of course I'll be Concerned while he's Gone.
But I know that God will keep him Safe and Secure -
Until He Gets Home, and Help Us Both to ENDURE....
