Naivete

Am I blinded by this
again and again?

Do I know who to trust
or who is my friend?

There's a time I was blind
and I couldn't see.

Now, I truly believe
I am not naive.

What is the severity
of my naivete?

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
