NO MORE LIVING DAY TO DAY
What a world of fantasy we are currently raising our children in
Stop thinking we need to care about things just one day at a time
All the while, our children are living destructive lives in total sin
Out of these horrible situations, we must help our children climb
Using the terminology, “it’s just the way things are these days”
Tell me, what kind of adults are we that we can turn our backs
Just how adults has just given up on children, I am truly amazed
No longer outside can little children safely play marbles and jacks
Just the other day I heard an adult male say, “I could care less”
Inside a neighborhood bar drinking and playing computer games
Thinking like that is why our children are having little or no success
Young people today think it is cool to kill and call each other names
Rest assured by no means am I casting blaming on our young people
They learn from today’s grown-ups calling each other “N’s” and “B’s”
Children learn these things from uneducated, business and laypeople
American children are suffering while celebrities concerns are overseas
Poor school systems, home losses, job losses are current problems
They are happening now but will be worse for our children’s future
Adults, start raising children above the subcultures and subsystems
Things Dr. King died for and Senator Obama is fighting for are true
We know our children are in big trouble when they respect a murderer
However, if they have no REAL MEN in their lives, what can we say?
Adults, these things I am saying is reality and far from some conjecturer
For neglect caused by adult males not MEN, daily our children must pay
Now that you have read these words, what are you going to do about it?
Those of you who are religious, God want you to do much more than pray
For all of us, if our children are to have REAL futures we must now commit
Brothers and Sisters, there can be “NO MORE LIVING DAY TO DAY”
PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING FOR OUR CHILDREN’S FUTURE
Let’s Join Them
