Darkness embracing the soul the demons
Trying to break free, I fight them
With sword in hand, razor sharp blade
Trying to hold these demons back
The battle has been raging for along time
    They gather, we fight and
I send them back to the depths of hell
But this war is taking its toll on
My weary soul, the demons are getting stronger
Or maybe I am just getting weaker
The world depends on me and I won’t let them
Down. I will battle till the end
And my soul will eventually walk free again

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
