Old Age

Fear not the days you're growing old.
Use your time wisely don't grow cold.
Thank God for the wisdom you have.
Use your wisdom to help someone younger
whose life has really gone bad.
Don't sit back and think about dying someday.
give God the glory for seeing another day.
Ask him to show you how you can be a blessing.
Don't feel you're left behind remember,
God still bless you to use your mind.
Don't wonder why he hasn't called you home yet.
You're going to stay here darling until his plan for you is met.
There is nothing wrong with old age.
The grapes are not good until the old stage.
Compared to Job in the Bible you're just a tender age.
Don't think it's time for you to go.
Take pride and thank God above.
he only kept you here to show
how much you're LOVED!!!

Well said. Too many times we oldsters forget that we were young once and someone older was usually there to guide us. so, I guess it's our turn now

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
