Old and New
Back in the day confrontations and hostilities
were mainly done between blacks and whites.
Man's inhumanity to man were epics that made
the world scream and holler.
The essence of life has now changed and although
racial crimes are still in sight
The focus of man's inhumanity and greed is the
almighty dollar,
Concentrating on the haves and have nots.
The reality of life has now moved from the pigment
of your skin to the color green
And the distance between those that have and those
who don't grow every single day.
When racial conflict was here, blacks and some
others had to fight to develop and keep their
self esteem,
But the battle of the dollar affect us in such a brutal
and radical way,
That survival may just be a fantasy for half of
mankind.
In my mind racial madness and condemnation is
high on the list of things needing reconstruction
Of threatening diseases that will bring the world
to it's knees
The rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer
is also on the list of self destruction
And once again I delve into my world of fantasy
And see the world heading in a positive direction
So that my grandson,DAMERE, may survive.
