Simple words

a fool spoke

The man without a heart

Wanting to learn to start

This man. This fool

This patient dreamer

Impatient only in love

Because that's what he's afraid of

Now he sits

By side of the man he loves

Thrice failed to put away his fear

He has to wait for his lover to want him near.

Jeremy, your poem kinda described me, which is cool that I can relate. It was the first one I read on this site, and I'm glad. :)

Thank you. I'm always glad to hear about my poetry reaching someone on a deep level.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
