    Our Kindred Spirits

    When our eyes first met
    My heart was finally set
You set my soul on fire
    And was full of desire
Your first touch of your hand
I knew where I should stand.

Now I am here by your side
    With nothing to hide
I am yours my heart and soul
We can wither any type of toll
    Our spirits guide us
    We are kindred spirits

Thank you very much. Sorry that I haven't been on much. I have been very busy lately. I love your comment. That poem is from an personal experience and from my heart.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
