    Our Love Was Real To Me


    Some things never change I don't know why I thought they would,

    That's why I just need to walk away; and that's just what I'm gonna do.

    I will no longer allow you to manipulate me; in your emails or calls trying to explain,

    Because I know that you will just play with me and my emotions like a puppet on a string.

    I have lost all hope and I am no longer wishing; that someday you will see,

    Just how much I love you and what your love has meant to me.

    But now you have lost me; for I have to let go and walk away you see,

    Because the love I felt and thought we shared; was only real to me.
