    Our Planet Apart

    She entered his life
Like a stone thrown in the water
    Wid'ning love's ripples

    From a little pond
Love grew larger and soon wider
    Into an ocean

    Waves washed over them
    Nourishing their love's sweet passion
    Blessing their bodies

    They float on each crest
Gazing upward toward the night stars
    Baptized in their love

    Come away with me
    Into our seas of forever
    Our planet apart

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
