    Our tiny island in the sun

     Our tiny island surrounded by sea,
    Your beauty here for all is free.
    Although your size is small not great,
    Your heart is larger than a state !

    You do not offer large big lakes,
    Or mountains, rivers, sphinx and skates,
    Or treasures of diamonds, rubies or gold,
    That on the market can be sold !

    But you have larger things at hand,
    Treasures old and intense wealth !
    Temples older than gardens hung,
    Pyramids to them are too young !

    Your people here are generous and kind,
    With safety for strangers always on mind.
    In dear Malta, we love to be !
    Come here, join us and you shall see !
