    Penalty

If love for you is a crime...
    I plead guilty.
    I'll do the time.
    So shall it be...
    sentence me...
    and please,
    don't ever set me free.

To experience a love sooo strong that you risk everything to embrace it. No matter what this love is like an addiction. Comes across so strong that you can feel the magnetism and intensity. Quite impressive for you to have such depth in this work. Great job.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
