    Perfect Stranger

Almost twelve months past by & I though that you were the love of my life. You promissed me that one day you would make me your wife. Until that very day when my world fell apart. That was the day I felt every piece break in my heart. Emotions that I couldn't explain that I can still feel to this very day. I feel foolish because I couldn't see. I guess I could only see what I wanted you to be. They say even the devil was once an angel. When I seen you that night I guess I didn't see your broken halo. You were like a dream that came true. A night in shining armor to good to be true. As the time passed by all your secrets were told. Your perfect little story began to unfold. This wonderful person was a complete stranger to me. So hard to walk away from love but I had to let you be.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
