personification of death
I watch you,Live you,
Hear you,
Breathe you in.
I see you,
Hate you,
Love you,
Time and again.
I wish you,
Dream you,
Give you,
But shun you away.
I need you,
Feel you,
Call you,
Death comes for me someway.
personification of death
I watch you,Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
