    PERSPECTIVE

     What is man's ultimate goal?

     
    Perfect health?

    Unheard of wealth?

    But then he might die tonight!

     

    Worldwide fame?

    A good name?

    But dark secrets may remain in his heart!

     

    Love beyond measure?

    Excitement and pleasure?

    But these are only temporary "joys!"

     

    Cherished longevity?

    Unlimited activity?

    But tomorrow is promised to no one!

     

     What is this man's ultimate goal?

     

    Healthy or not!

    Wealthy or not!

    Famous or unknown!

    Old or young!

    Loved or despised!

    My goal is to be Christ's!


    And if I should die tonight…

    I will live again!

    wow, very good, I like the theme of it and comparsion, everyone wishes to start over again if their life was like that. lol, great poem
