    Pillow Thoughts

Laying beside you watching you sleep

God your so beautiful and comes from deep

I feel the love from inside your heart

it's there for me...but where do I start

Why me I ask, what did I do,

Why am I so special to you?

    I lie...I cheat...I take advantage...it's true.

You make me feel sad that

    I've treated you bad.

I come and I go as always before

but with you it's hard to walk out the door.

Your love touched my heart you see and

it's never happened before, to me.

The pain I feel inside when I lie

Making me crazy wanting to die

Could this be real, am I changing my ways?

Longing to stay the rest of my days.

Can I fulfill what you see in me?

Can I be totally be in love with thee?

Thanks I am not a writer or a reader I was a cheerleader. They say youth was wasted on the young well I believe that to be true. I wish I had done things differently. But thank God it is never too late. I hope to improve my writing. Thanks again suzystars

Inner questioning of the heart posts well but flow a tad off. note from sleep to (then) eyes open.

I see what you are saying. I fixed it. I hope!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
