P.O. Box...

LORD, where do I send this letter
that I'm writing now, so blue.
Do you have a mailbox anywhere,
one addressed to YOU?

YOU see I have a problem LORD,
my friend has gone away.
He's in a hospital in _____ LORD,
and I don't want him to stay.

I love him and I need him,
like I never have before.
We've had to few years to cherish
and LORD, we would like more.

He's warm LORD and he's caring
and he's loving and he's kind.
There are'nt to many like him LORD,
at least that I could find.

YOU have all the answers LORD,
I know he's in your hands.
Please LORD, hold him tight and high
when YOUR walking through the sand.

He needs help with this sickness LORD,
YOUR the best at what YOU do
Please give him life and love and plenty of hope,
we all have faith in YOU.

I need him and I want him,
he's my world in every way.
I can't find your address LORD
to tell YOU I want him to stay.

So, I think Ill take this letter outside
and lay it on the ground.
Would YOU take the time to read it LORD,
if your wandering around?

How wonderful and refreshing to read a poem like that on today, Memorial Day. We all have people we would like the Lord to take care of. Beautifully written and read. Thank you.

this is one of the most beautiful poems I think I have ever read and I know it was truly from the heart

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
