I read my latest poem, SCARS, to a friend last night. The first thing she said was, "how do you DO that?" I often wonder how my life would have been if I could have been happy in this one area that has caused me so much pain. I would be living a different life altogether. But then....who would have written my poetry? I would be so jealous of them!
