My name is Cyan they call me the Blade,
For it is I who cuts through the years, and wades,
Through blood red fields of war--I've made,
All suffer who threaten the balance I raid,
To purify the poisoned and luminate the shade,
Week, after month, after year...after decade....

That is my life, this is my curse...

The blue flames forged me stronger than steel,
From the phoenix's fire, and the hottest of chills,
To banish all evil, or vanquish and kill,
To pray for the helpless and wounded I heal,
Although my very own soul remains damaged and sealed,
My heart searches for love, it's only pain and emptiness I feel....

That is my life, this is my curse...

My quest for peace has raged through time,
As I rift thought rift, never to glance behind,
When only my shadow--dares to treat me kind,
As I save the worlds that can never be mine,
For I am what I am that is cursed with a sign...
Revealing I am the blade, if only that I could rewind...
