My name is Peter, I'm a 68 year old ex pat living in Spain with my 2 adopted cats.
My move was mainly for health reasons which have now progressed, but along with the practically all year good weather living on a pension it also has a much cheaper cost of living.
My education was in a London secondary modern school, I left aged 14 and worked most of my life as a Butcher! no real academic qualities, but would have loved to have been able to write, play a musical instrument, been a Vet, climb Everest, and last but not least discover the Holy Grail.
But providing for a wife and 3 daughters soon put those dreams behind me, but things change.
Almost 20 years ago (O'k mid-life crisis time) I went on a Spiritual Healing retreat, being cut off from the world was I must admit a challenge! no TV, Papers, radio, telephone, meat! or contact with family or friends.
On my return home something strange happened, I could not stop writing what I call poems! but that's for you to decide.
For about 2 years I could not stop not knowing what I had written
till it was finished, then it stopped but re-emerges for a while at the strangest times.
I must have destroyed at least 7 out of every 10 not understanding what they were about, the first one I wrote is called TRUTH which relates to my journey.

They have been in a cupboard gathering dust, and I only came across them getting my bits and pieces in order, there must be at least 150 to go through so here I go ...
