Biography

My name is Shelley and I paint oil on canvas. I have only written a few poems in my life. My brother and sister seem to have inherited the gene for writing and they are wonderful. But they have inspired me to try my hand at dabbling a bit with words along with the pallette. I love the medium of oil paint and what it creates for the eye to behold but what words can describe the mind can also observe, breathe, and compel ideas or thoughts to exist.

Yes, definitely. As you can see, you don't have too much of my poetry to read yet but I will try to get some up soon. I have read more of yours and will comment soon. I really like what I have read so far and will rate it if you like. This is all new to me. I need a day or so...Nice to meet you.
