Biography

I started writing poetry when my daughter was in a near-death car accident. I was so traumatized that my doctor suggested I talk to a psychologist. She suggested I write down what I was feeling and I did. The funniest thing happened, everything I wrote turned into a poem. Before then I never really liked poetry and here I was writing poetry. What a freeing experience! I then saw an ad for submitting poetry to the International Poetry Society. I submitted 2 poems and they printed both in their anthology of poems that would be published later that year. I have been writing poems and short stories ever since.
