thefighter’s Profile

I have been named The Fighter by my Multiple Sclerosis support group. I suppose because I refuse to give up. I have had MS for 33 yrs. and you wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you. My husband and I are survivalists. You name it we have 100 of them. Since we both have degrees in the medical field (me a bachelors, him a biomedical engineer) we are prepared to survive anything. I have been writing poems for over 20 yrs. I write my feelings and experiences to cope with life. My son bought me a lether bound book to write them in and said I should publish it. Well I don't know about that! All I do know is that our poems are the windows to our souls and hearts. A self medication for depression and a way to say things when we can't seem to talk about it. I hope someone reads my poems and GETS IT! If not that's OK. I am putting them here for those who have experienced similiar things just to say your not alone. Thank-you for your time. The Fighter
