I believe that hope is a coping mechanism for the awareness of the inevitable. I hope you don't judge me. I hope I'm not alone for the rest of my life. I hope I become a better bassist. I hope my collectible card game is a hit that doesn't die out. I hope I can get a better job. I hope that you know that God doesn't make decisions; he's already made them. I hope his decisions are in my favor.
