Prayer of Gratitude.

Prayer of Gratitude.

What is this gentle snow falling?
These flowers coming down all around?

Isn't this that place i've discussed with the silence?
Isn't this love, sweet love?
I pray,
Thank You for blessing me so.
Thank You for kissing my life.

Thank You for confirming my faith.
and thank You for giving me light.

A meteor -boom. sonic
and tonic.
Somehow ironic
but, wonderful, lovely and kind.

Thank you for showing me Your path,
when i thought i might know better.

Thank you for sharing perfection,
when i gave up the urge to resist.

VERY NICE ... a deeply spiritual and inspirational piece you have penned her! Great Job!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
