-Preying-
This morning I with the cat was
Steeped, at the top in a wide stairway
Though struck us both in the same gaze barely
One was gifted to say whatever knew he
To be the solitary buzz
But a nod, the winking cats can
Or the stay that man does
When morning sticks to him or causes him
To lift his morning glass
To the eyes his sun creaks
Oh, mellow, sinister gatherer I
Beg of you, cease
Your peculiar stopping watch upon us
Before someone breaks
Before we stop our looking watches..
