    Protection
    Tears well up inside me
    I always knew I had
    holding them back carefully
    not wanting to appear sad

    Love is deep inside us all
    but children bring it out
    they grab a hold of your heart
    and it makes you want to shout

    Don't hurt my baby that child of mine
    you wouldn't like me then
    Protection is the formost thing
    and I will do whatever I can

    Nothing can get in my way
    instincts take over my soul
    and all there is inside me now
    says protection is my goal

    I will always be here for you
    it is my life's outline
    to care for you with all my might
    nothing breaks the love that binds

    Wrapped in soft and fluffy pink
    my baby in my arms
    All my life I give for you
    so sweet with all your charms
