    "Lost In HIs Kiss"

    The wind blew,
    a cool crisp
    breath of fresh air.

    I closed my eyes
    and inhaled
    as visions ofour love
    blew though my mind.

Suddenly the day came to an end,
and he became less than a friend.

    He left as quickly
    as he came,
my life would never be the same.

    I tried to forget him,
    but i couldn't,
    and something kept saying
    I shouldn't.

Someday he'll come back to me,
    and our love will flow
the way it was meant to be.

Not one beat of his heart
    will I miss,
    as I become lost,
    in his kiss.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
