"The March
“The March”
Today I was looking through some odds and ends
of things that I brought from your home.
The one that now sits empty since you and mom are gone…
It’s going on three years now dad
since you went away,
the void you left with all of us just lingers day to day…
Outsiders have no idea what damage has been done
for our family threads, mom and dad
Are coming all undone…
They say that time will heal all wounds I’d have to say their wrong…it’s more like time keeps marching on
moaning it’s death filled song…
No respect for anyone, no regards for life
No sorrow felt for those left behind
Just deaths song of sorrow and strife…
